LOVED IT. HARD.
I absolutley devoured this book in 4 hours. I didnt go to bed till 2am because I simple COULD NOT NOTTT put it down.
I really enjoyed the first installment "The Price of a Kiss" and my reason to click on this book. But nothing prepared me for how FABULOUS this book was going to be. OMG. One word. Noel. OKay..he is just..pure HOTNESS.It starts with Mr. Quarterback football star Noel l upset over a bad grade that his English Professor Dr. Aspen Kavanagh gave him.
Dr. Aspen Kavanagh is problaby one of my fave heroines. LOVED HER! I don't want to tell you too much, but know that the age difference is not very much. Their attraction to one another is OFF THE CHARTS HOTTT!! and those love scenes..OMG I will not look at a storage closet the same.
There is SO MUCH MORE to this story, Yes they make an amazing hot couple but you will read about Noel and his love and stuggles with his family and vice versa. I thoroughly enjoyed the supporting characters, his friends were super funny and of course loved that readers got to catch up with Mason from "A Price of a kiss." I cant CANTTTT WAIT for next installment..OMGG I am stalking until it comes out...!!

Ooooh the feels with this one.

This is book 2 of a series, but I didn’t read the first one and it can be read as a standalone.

Dual POV.
Okay, this started off a little slow for me and with the blurb of teacher and student, I was already a little hesitant.
But boy am I glad I gave it a try.

Aspen and Noel. It starts off with Noel and I wasn’t quite feeling it at first, and then everything started to tie together. The more I read it, the more I got wrapped up in their little world.

Aspen has parents that would never be proud of her, even though she has a PH.D. at the age of 23.

Noel is the star quarterback, but he’s not all dumb jock. He came from a trailer park home and now he was making something of himself so he can take care of his brothers and sisters.
Ten his best friend; I didn’t like at first, but he’s actually pretty awesome later.

Aspen was pretty awesome in the end and so was Noel.

Their scenes together were pretty electrified!

And even at some scenes, I found myself laughing out loud at their banter.

It was very heartfelt, funny, and will definitely read on his brothers story, Brandt.

This gets 4 PIGGIES!!
OMG! I have been in such a book funk lately and its been forever since I felt like I could rate a book 5 Stars. You know when you wait anxiously for a book to come out and when it does and you feel let down? Well let me tell you THAT didn't happen with this book. I absolutely LOVED this book!
Their love was forbidden because she was a Professor and he was a student.
Noel was the super jock and womanizing quarterback for his college football team but nobody knew the man behind that image until her.
Aspen was the seemingly frigid child prodigy literature professor that no-one got until him.
Noel and Aspens chemistry was a slow sensuous burn and when it finally ignited. WOW! They were HOT!!
Of course they crashed and burned but the way back to one another and the sacrifices that were made, weren't really sacrifices at all it was just how it was meant to be. We got to read more of Mason and Reese (and the evil Mrs. Garrison made an appearance) and the author has left so many possibilities for more stories Eva and Pick / Ten and Caroline / Brandt and Sarah. I can't wait for the next story in this series. Read this series, you'll be glad you did.
At the beginning I wasn't sure I was gonna end up liking this book but by the end I only wanted two things,1) to either have Noel Gamble for myself ( sorry, Aspen ;) ) or a man very much like him and 2) for the book to never end..... At the beginning I wasn't sure I'd like either of the MC's Noel seemed like your typical shallow narcissistic man whore and Aspen had angry,pissy beyotch written all over her,but thankfully after a few chapters you get to see them for who they really truly are and you fall in love w/them and their story just like they do w/each other.... I kept having to remind myself of what their ages truly were because Noel ( because his back story I'm sure) ( especially after Aspen) seemed much older than just 21 and Aspen seemed older than just 23 and I came to adore them both... O to beloved w/the intensity, and passion and need and commitment of Noel,Aspen was soo blessed there but l really loved the little things like the quotes and things like Noel saying in his head how precious Aspen made him precious and cared for by the she held on to him after they'd had sex the 1st time... I loved that !! I was honestly moved by that,I mean honestly how often to think about how I guy feels after or even during or before when it comes to sex and his feelings? (Usually it's all about getting his physical "needs" met or "claiming" her, especially in PNR ( Paranormal Romance books) but the guy feeling precious to the girl was new and well kind precious to me... I mean shouldn't they get to feel loved and treasured and hopefully seen as precious to the h ? They need love and appreciation as much as we do,though sadly in books and out that tends to be forgotten and I loved seeing that.. Coz I know when I finally find a man like Noel to love he's always gonna know just how precious he IS to me!
